● About Active Charity Program (Special Program) and Dream Houses Project

We, Family House are grateful for 72 Active Charity Runners and supporter who helped us fundraise to build our “Dream Houses” through the Tokyo Marathon 2019 Charity.

We are pleased to announce that Family House is a recipient charity in Tokyo Marathon 2020 and will secure a set of Active Charity Runner entry places for the same “Dream Houses” project* in advance. You can be an Active Charity Runner by raising donations of 200,000 yen or more by yourself or with your family, friends and colleagues who support the project.

*Dream Houses Project
We aim to create “dream houses” for children who require medical care along with their families, acting as a bridging middle-ground between the hospital and home. Donations through the Tokyo Marathon 2020 Charity are used to fund construction of “dream houses,” where children with long-term illnesses can stay with their parents out of the hospital ward while still connected to the necessary medical equipment.

● For Legal Entity Active Charity Runner Entry

We welcome Legal Entity Active Charity Runners for the 2020 program. If your company wishes to support this program, simply nominate a Legal Entity Active Charity Runner and make a donation of 200,000 yen directly to Family House. Please contact us for details via e-mail:

● Application and registration process

1.　Application: 
Simply fill out the Active Charity Application (Click here) and send it back to us via e-mail: tokyomarathon@familyhouse.or.jp

2.　Application　Confirmation:
We will be in touch shortly by e-mail regarding the outcome of your application and next steps including donation payment information.

3.　Active Charity Runner Donation Payment, Tokyo Marathon 2020 Web Runner Entry and fee payment
Your application will not be accepted unless the donation payment and other necessary procedures are not complete. The application will close as soon as the number of applicants reaches the capacity. After confirming your donation payment, we will provide you with information for the Tokyo Marathon 2020 runner entry by e-mail. Please complete your registration as soon as possible. Please be aware that you will need to pay the Tokyo Marathon 2020 entry fee, 18,200 yen by credit card.

4.　Completion of registration
Once your registration to the Tokyo Marathon 2020 website is completed, please let us know by e-mail.
